It is the most emotionally challenging week of the year. When I find myself with a case of the winter blahs or blues, the quickest way to refocus on the positive is through gratitude practice.
My gratitude practice generally includes a piece of paper and a bunch of markers, and often lasts 2-10 minutes (talk about return on investment!).
Each day I practice, I find something different that I am truly grateful for and it is a little bit easier to tap in and find gratitude. Upon completion, I grab that piece of paper and post it over my desk for the day, so when I need a reminder of all the good, great and wonderful in my life, I simply look up.
Gratitude practice helps me focus on the positive, the good, and ultimately gets me focused on having a great day.
What are you grateful for?
