Megan Cosgrove BBA, PCC, CHRL
Professional Certified Executive Coach
Leadership Development Facilitator
Megan brings experience as a Management Consultant and Human Resources Business Partner working with diverse business industries and sizes, in the corporate and not-for-profit environments to her coaching and facilitation.
Megan was drawn to coaching and leadership development by her passion and deep belief that each of us will be truly better leaders and people if we take thirty minutes each week to think and sort through the thoughts running through our heads, and use them to our advantage. She believes strongly that the answers are all found within ourselves, they sometimes just take some clarifying and discovering.
Having lived the expatriate life, Megan is especially passionate about working with expatriates and their families to make their experience in their host country the best they can be. Megan is also passionate about working with new graduates to provide the support and assistance needed in starting off their career on the right foot. Megan thrives when facilitating Leadership Development programs. She believes that professional development with the addition of some coaching support makes a powerful combination.
Megan graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration degree and has obtained her Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) with the Human Resources Professional Association of Ontario (HRPA). Megan obtained her Certified Executive Coach (CEC) designation from Royal Roads University. Megan is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coach Federation (ICF).
Megan founded Traverse to create an environment for what she truly believes in - the power of coaching. Click here to read all about the Story of Traverse.
When not coaching and facilitating, Megan can be found travelling, clocking miles on her runners, and looking for the next adventure with her family.
“Owning our story can be hard but not nearly as difficult as spending our lives running from it. Embracing our vulnerabilities is risky but not nearly as dangerous as giving up on love and belonging and joy – the experiences that make us the most vulnerable. Only when we are brave enough to explore the darkness will we discover the infinite power of our light.”
